Job Title: Senior AI Engineer
Role Summary:
Lead a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and operationalize AI solutions on Azure, Databricks, and Power Platform. Translate business use‑cases into secure, standard, and cost‑effective AI architectures, ensuring measurable business value.
Expectations:
- Deliver high‑quality AI applications that meet business objectives.
- Mentor team members and set technical standards.
- Quantify technical cost (infrastructure and effort) and support business case development.
- Advocate for simplicity, security, and reusability across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert business requirements into optimal application architectures and reference models.
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions using Azure AI services (Document Intelligence, OpenAI, AI Search, AI Foundry).
- Build end‑to‑end back‑end and front‑end (UI/UX) components.
- Implement Generative AI workflows (LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, chunking, indexing, search & ranking).
- Develop Data pipelines with Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Airflow) and Mosaic AI.
- Configure Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and embed AI capabilities.
- Deploy IaC with Terraform for Azure resources.
- Maintain coding standards and reference architectures.
- Facilitate Scrum/Kanban ceremonies, test‑driven development, and continuous integration.
- Coach teammates on technical design and best practices.
Required Skills:
Technical: Azure cloud (networking, security), Azure AI Services, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, data pipelines (Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Airflow), Power Platform, Terraform, solution architecture.
Functional: Analytical thinking, problem solving, solution orientation, fast learner, proactive, entrepreneurial.
Communication: Clear articulation with stakeholders and teammates.
Methodology: Scrum/Kanban, TDD, CI/CD.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- Microsoft Azure certification(s) (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer) – preferred.
- Full professional proficiency in English; Dutch or French language skills a plus.
