Job Description
Job title: AI Scientist Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced generative neural network models and computational biology pipelines to accelerate peptide drug discovery. Integrate physics‑based simulation data, manage experimental datasets, and build scalable, cloud‑native software for high‑throughput analysis. Expactations: • Deliver state‑of‑the‑art generative models (Flow Matching, Diffusion, etc.) that improve discovery accuracy and throughput. • Translate experimental insights into reproducible, production‑ready tools. • Collaborate closely with experimental scientists to optimize data workflows and model performance. • Design and maintain robust, highly available cloud infrastructure for computational pipelines. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and refine generative AI architectures for de novo peptide design. - Build, test, deploy, and maintain high‑performance computational biology software. - Orchestrate integration of experimental data into cloud‑based pipelines. - Ensure scalability, availability, and ease of use of software tools. - Manage storage, access, and quality of experimental datasets. Required Skills: - Ph.D. or post‑doctoral experience in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field. - Deep expertise in generative modeling (Flow Matching, Diffusion Models) for discrete/continuous design. - Experience integrating physics‑based simulation data (e.g., Molecular Dynamics) into ML workflows. - Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, and a high‑performance compiled language. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; self‑starter with disciplined execution. Preferred Skills: - Design and maintenance of high‑availability cloud architectures for computational biology. - Chemical featurization and modeling of peptides, NCAAs, and macrocycles. - Protein/peptide folding dynamics and structural data integration. Required Education & Certifications: - Ph.D. or equivalent in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related discipline. - No additional certifications required.
