**Job title** Regional Sales Manager – Eastern Region **Role Summary** Lead sales activities for Atradius’s trade credit insurance products across the Eastern United States, targeting businesses from SMEs to Fortune 500. Develop and manage a portfolio that meets revenue and growth objectives, while fostering long‑term client relationships and collaborating with brokers and underwriting teams. **Expectations** - Deliver new‑business growth and meet quarterly/annual sales targets. - Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and actively pursue opportunities. - Develop strategic relationships with corporate decision‑makers and lending institutions. - Ensure accurate program monitoring and renewal of existing clients. **Key Responsibilities** - Prospect, qualify, and schedule appointments with potential clients. - Conduct consultative sales presentations showcasing domestic and export credit insurance programs. - Present underwriting results and program recommendations to senior executives. - Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, brokers, and underwriters. - Build and manage a book of business aligned with company goals. - Serve as the primary contact for new and existing accounts, ensuring satisfaction and program adherence. - Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted outreach initiatives. - Travel within the Eastern U.S. region to meet clients and attend industry events as needed. **Required Skills** - Consultative sales methodology with strong prospecting and closing capability. - Excellent verbal and written communication; active listening. - Negotiation and influence skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms. - Self‑starter mindset with resilience to challenges. - Ability to interpret financial statements and risk profiles. - Knowledge of the credit insurance or related financial services sectors preferred. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Valid insurance selling license (state‑specific) or willingness to obtain one. - Minimum of 3–5 years of consultative sales experience in financial or insurance products.
