Deal Operations Manager
**Role Summary**
Design and lead a global Deal Management function that standardizes quoting, pricing, commercial approvals, and contract workflows for a SaaS, high‑growth organization. Drive automation, scalability, and compliance across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success, reducing cycle times, margin risk, and manual dependencies.
**Expectations**
- Build a fully documented, scalable Deal Desk from inception.
- Deliver a CPQ – DealHub & Salesforce – solution that automates pricing guardrails, approval logic, and contract generation.
- Lead a small team of deal support specialists to operate autonomously and with high service levels.
- Achieve measurable improvements in deal cycle times, pricing compliance, and margin optimization within 12 months.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Establish Deal Desk governance: roles, SLAs, escalation routes, and SOPs.
- Own global quoting framework: pricing tiers, discount rules, margin thresholds, and approval matrices.
- Lead commercialization process design: end‑to‑end workflow from quote to signed contract.
- Standardize deal templates, product catalog, and approval rules with Marketing, Legal, Finance.
- Migrate legacy contracts into standardized representations; oversee legacy‑to‑new format transition.
- Serve as business owner for DealHub and Salesforce quoting processes; collaborate with RevOps to build CPQ logic.
- Act as commercial advisor to cross‑functional teams; run complex deal reviews and provide enablement training.
- Maintain data integrity in deal records; build dashboards on cycle metrics, discount trends, and compliance.
**Required Skills**
- 7–10+ years in Deal Desk, Commercial Operations, RevOps, or Pricing within SaaS or global tech.
- Proven success building or transforming a deal management function.
- Deep expertise in CPQ (DealHub strongly preferred) and Salesforce.
- Strong knowledge of B2B SaaS pricing models, contract structures, discounts, margins, and billing.
- Ability to design scalable processes, automate workflows, and manage change in ambiguity.
- Excellent stakeholder management across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Ops.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- CPQ or Salesforce administration certifications (e.g., Salesforce CPQ Admin or Salesforce Platform App Builder) highly valued.
