Job Description

Job Title: Private Tutor Role Summary: Deliver individualized, one‑on‑one tutoring sessions that address each student’s specific academic needs. Design lesson plans, adapt teaching methods, and provide ongoing feedback to students and their guardians to promote measurable academic improvement. Expectations: Demonstrate mastery in core academic subjects (Math, English, Science, etc.); tailor instruction to diverse learning styles; maintain professional and empathetic engagement with students and parents; meet or exceed targeted learning outcomes; manage flexible scheduling as required. Key Responsibilities: • Create and implement customized lesson plans for individual students. • Deliver engaging, focused instruction in designated subject areas. • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly. • Communicate regular progress reports and feedback to students and guardians. • Foster a supportive, patient learning environment. • Coordinate with school or program guidelines as needed. Required Skills: • In‑depth subject knowledge in primary or secondary curriculum. • Lesson planning and curriculum adaptation. • Effective verbal and written communication. • Assessment and feedback delivery. • Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills. • Adaptability to varied learning styles and schedules. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, English, Science, or related field (preferred). • Formal teaching qualification (e.g., teaching ability test, TAAT, or equivalent) is desired.
