Job Description
Job Title: Sensory Research Manager Role Summary: Lead and deliver end‑to‑end sensory research projects; serve as primary client liaison; manage project budgets, methodology, and quality control; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate data capture and actionable insights. Expectations: • Own the full project lifecycle from proposal to insights delivery. • Maintain strong client relationships and drive satisfaction and business growth. • Ensure projects align with company standards and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Act as main client contact throughout project phases. • Develop project proposals, timelines, and budgets. • Select appropriate sensory, quantitative, and qualitative methodologies. • Oversee panel recruitment, scheduling, and moderation. • Coordinate data analysis and ensure statistical validity. • Prepare and present findings with clear storytelling and recommendations. • Monitor project deliverables, quality, and adherence to timelines. • Identify opportunities for upsell and cross‑sell to existing clients. • Collaborate with data, field and technical teams to optimize project execution. Required Skills: • Minimum 3 years in market or sensory research. • Deep knowledge of sensory science, consumer research, and statistical analysis. • Strong written and oral communication in English. • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Excellent organisational, planning, and prioritisation. • Proactive, rigorous, and responsive to client needs. • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Sensory Science, Statistics, Consumer Research or related field (or equivalent experience). • Professional certifications in sensory analysis or market research preferred, but not mandatory.
