Job Description

Job title: Machine Learning Engineer Role Summary: Develop, optimize, and deploy computer vision models for golf swing analysis, pose estimation, divot detection, and movement tracking, ensuring high‑performance inference for thousands of daily users on both device and server. Expectations: • 3+ years of experience in machine learning or computer vision. • Proven track record of deploying real‑time inference systems (AWS Lambda, GPU containers). • Expertise in model optimization techniques (ONNX, quantization, distillation). • Strong background in video processing and pose estimation pipelines. • Ability to iterate rapidly and ship production‑ready models. • Familiarity with sports analytics or biomechanics is a plus. Key Responsibilities: - Design and train vision models for swing analysis, biomechanics, and divot segmentation. - Build and maintain pose estimation pipelines, extracting angles and kinematic data. - Optimize models for on‑device and cloud inference, implementing quantization and distillation. - Deploy models to AWS Lambda/ECS and GPU‑based containers. - Develop evaluation tooling, curate datasets, and establish annotation workflows. - Collaborate with backend and Unity engineers to integrate inference engines into product. Required Skills: - Proficiency in PyTorch and TensorFlow. - Experience with OpenCV and state‑of‑the‑art pose/object‑detection/segmentation models. - Knowledge of AWS Lambda, ECS, and GPU runtime environments. - SQL proficiency for dataset management. - Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with C++ for performance tuning (preferred). - Familiarity with ONNX, media pipe customization, and mobile inference frameworks. Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field (preferred).
