Job Description
**Job Title** Account Manager – Engineering Plastics (France) **Role Summary** Dynamic sales and technical account manager responsible for driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction for a portfolio of high‑performance thermoplastic compounds. Focus on acquiring new OEM and processor customers, managing end‑to‑end projects, and providing expert consultancy on material selection and application. **Expectations** - Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. - Establish and nurture long‑term, sustainable relationships with key decision‑makers. - Act as the single point of contact for all customer‑related technical and commercial matters. - Collaborate internally across Product Development and Business Development to tailor solutions. **Key Responsibilities** - Actively promote and sell multi‑functional thermoplastic compounds to new and existing customers. - Conduct technical and commercial consultations to recommend optimal materials. - Lead customer projects from quotation, sampling, specification development, to series production support. - Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms while maintaining profitability. - Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback; translate insights into business strategies. - Attend trade fairs, customer events, and networking activities (≈50% travel). - Maintain accurate sales documentation, forecasts, and performance reports. **Required Skills** - Proven experience selling technical or high‑performance thermoplastics. - Strong project management capabilities with a proactive, results‑oriented mindset. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Entrepreneurial, strategic thinking with a customer‑centric approach. - Ability to influence and win over decision‑makers at multiple stakeholder levels. - Team‑oriented yet self‑sufficient work style. - Fluent in English (written and spoken). - Proficient in MS Office suite. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Plastics Technology, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. - Alternatively, certified training in plastics industry with demonstrable professional experience.
