Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst II
Role Summary: Supports and enhances security operations across cloud and IT environments. Performs technical assessments, secure deployment assistance, vulnerability analysis, incident response, and policy implementation.
Expectations: 3‑5+ years of cybersecurity or risk management experience. Must deliver accurate technical findings, recommend mitigation strategies, maintain documentation, collaborate cross‑functionally, and support compliance/audit readiness while continuously updating knowledge of security technologies and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct secure system deployment support for networks, applications, servers, clients, and databases.
- Evaluate bug reports, exploit notices, and security alerts; recommend mitigation measures.
- Execute and support tests of cybersecurity controls.
- Interpret and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze system vulnerabilities and develop mitigation plans.
- Manage tools and documentation for investigations, forensics, incident response, and security analysis.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365) and industry standards (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS).
- Contribute to security findings documentation and risk reporting for audits.
- Collaborate with teams to improve security posture and compliance.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Explicit adherence to confidentiality and data protection policies.

- Proficiency in security controls (encryption, IAM, logging/monitoring, endpoint protection).
- Experience with vulnerability management tools, GRC platforms, or SIEM technologies.

Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, CISA, or CCSK are strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365) and security policy implementation.
