Job Description
Job title: Internal Sales Representative Role Summary: Serve as the primary customer contact within the sales organization, driving sales growth by managing existing accounts, generating new leads, providing accurate quotations, and collaborating with external sales teams to meet and surpass sales targets. Expactations: Deliver quality service that maintains high customer satisfaction, achieve or exceed monthly sales quotas and KPIs, enter accurate and timely information into the CRM, and consistently pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting. Key Responsibilities: - Respond to incoming sales inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms. - Prospect and generate new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and research. - Build and sustain strong customer relationships, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and repeat business. - Prepare, submit, and follow up on sales quotations, proposals, and product information. - Coordinate with external sales staff to develop and implement joint sales strategies. - Update and maintain customer databases and sales records using CRM software. - Deliver after‑sales support, addressing issues or concerns promptly. - Report on sales performance and provide insights to management for continuous improvement. Required Skills: - Proven internal sales or customer service experience. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities. - Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, capable of working independently. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). - Strong multitasking, time‑management, and organizational skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Required Education & Certifications: - Minimum of a high‑school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred. - No mandatory certifications required, though experience with CRM or sales training programs is advantageous.
