Job Description
Job Title: BI Data Analyst Role Summary: Provide end‑to‑end BI solutions using Power BI and Azure–based data platforms to deliver accurate, compliant analytics for reverse logistics and carbon reporting initiatives. Expactations: Deliver reliable dashboards, ensure data integrity, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and build data literacy across the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Design and maintain scalable data models with Power BI, Azure Databricks/Fabric, and relational databases. - Validate, reconcile, and audit operational, financial, and audit data for CCS, Scope 3, and Track & Trace projects. - Automate and maintain standard and ad‑hoc Power BI dashboards; implement Row‑Level Security and data validation logic. - Lead monthly/annual CCS validation cycles, disseminate reports to PROs, and work with audit partners on verification. - Identify and remediate data inconsistencies, duplication, and inefficiencies; recommend process improvements. - Partner with Operations, IT, Product Development, and Continuous Improvement to resolve data issues and align analytics with business objectives. - Train internal and external stakeholders on Power BI, data systems, and reporting best practices. - Support additional departments with data analysis, insights, and reporting for operational and strategic decisions. Required Skills: - 3‑5 years BI/data analytics experience; strong SQL, DAX, Power Query, and relational database concepts. - Expertise in Power BI (visualization, dashboarding, RLS). - Experience with Azure Databricks/Fabric, data integration, and cloud/on‑prem data repositories. - Proficiency in Excel (pivot, formulas, conditional formatting). - Data Studio/connector tool knowledge is a plus. - Strong analytical thinking, organizational, and customer‑service focus. - Excellent written and verbal communication. Required Education & Certifications: - College Diploma or Bachelor’s in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. - Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (asset).
