Job Description
Job Title: Senior Specialist Information Security (d/f/m) Role Summary Responsible for managing and advancing the organization’s Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 27001‑family standards, TISAX, NIS2, and related regulations. Acts as a key member of the Corporate Governance & Compliance team, delivering risk assessments, policy development, audit coordination, and certification support. Expectations - Deliver independent, solution‑oriented work aligned with corporate governance objectives. - Maintain meticulous documentation and demonstrate strong analytical, conceptual, and communication skills. - Collaborate effectively across departments while leading audit and certification processes. - Continuously enhance the ISMS to meet evolving legal and industry requirements. Key Responsibilities - Manage and monitor compliance requirements, conduct risk assessments, and evaluate adequacy/effectiveness of controls. - Develop, refine, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures. - Coordinate and conduct internal and external audits, leading to ISO 27001 (or equivalent) and TISAX certifications. - Operate and improve the ISMS, ensuring alignment with ISO/IEC 2700x, NIS2, and other regulatory frameworks. - Provide expert guidance on information security matters to stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills - Minimum 3 years practical experience in information security management. - In‑depth knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001‑family, TISAX, and NIS2. - Strong risk assessment, policy development, and audit coordination abilities. - Experience with ISMS implementation and operation. - Excellent written and verbal communication; meticulous, analytical, and team‑oriented. - Proficiency in German is advantageous; English is mandatory. - Auditor certification for ISO 27001 (preferred). Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a comparable qualification. - Alternative: equivalent vocational qualification such as an apprenticeship for an IT Specialist in System Integration. - ISO 27001 auditor certification (ideal).
