**Job Title:** Cloud Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, implement, and manage cloud‑based and on‑premise infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and compliance. Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to translate business requirements into robust, standards‑based technical solutions. Maintain continuous monitoring, automation, and improvement of all cloud services and supporting network environments.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect, plan, and deploy scalable, extensible cloud infrastructure (Azure, and other providers as needed).
- Maintain day‑to‑day health of cloud and on‑prem resources; implement monitoring, alerting, and corrective actions.
- Evaluate new cloud technologies, produce recommendations, and drive adoption.
- Manage cloud privacy and security posture, identifying risks and collaborating with information security.
- Monitor and secure cloud and on‑prem networks, firewalls, and servers; implement configuration hardening.
- Design, install, configure, and troubleshoot cloud‑based PBX and telecommunication systems.
- Configure, update, debug, and optimize on‑prem network devices.
- Write, test, and maintain scripts for automation; develop CI/CD pipelines and code repository workflows.
- Support BCDR planning, management, and testing activities.
- Train team members on operational support and best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and emerging best practices.
**Required Skills:**
- Cloud platform expertise (Azure core services; AWS/GCP preferred).
- Strong network infrastructure configuration and maintenance.
- System administration (Windows/Linux) fundamentals.
- Security best practices: IAM, encryption, firewall management, risk assessments.
- Automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Terraform, ARM/Azure‑Bicep).
- CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- Monitoring and logging solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Splunk, etc.).
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ‑104, AZ‑303/304, or equivalent).
- Professional experience: ≥10 years in network infrastructure, ≥5 years in system administration, ≥3 years in cloud design, deployment, and support.
