SVP of Technology & Innovation
**Role Summary**
Lead the organization’s digital transformation, modernizing legacy systems and integrating AI/advanced technologies to drive growth, productivity, and customer experience in a consumer/lifestyle business. Own the enterprise technology roadmap, ensure secure, compliant, and scalable operations, and develop a global technology and innovation team.
**Expectations**
- Deliver a 3‑5 year technology roadmap aligned with long‑term business goals.
- Modernize existing platforms, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
- Champion enterprise AI initiatives from concept through deployment, embedding data analytics into decision‑making.
- Collaborate with C‑suite and business units to align technology with commercial strategy.
- Build, mentor, and retain a distributed global tech & innovation workforce.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Technology Leadership** – Define and execute the enterprise technology strategy; oversee product engineering, systems architecture, data infrastructure, and platform reliability.
2. **Legacy Modernization** – Drive the migration of legacy systems to cloud or modern platforms, improving efficiency and security.
3. **Cybersecurity & Governance** – Establish industry‑best practices for security, compliance, and data governance.
4. **AI & Innovation Program** – Lead end‑to‑end AI projects; identify, incubate, and scale new technologies that accelerate creativity and speed to market.
5. **Vendor & Partnership Management** – Source, negotiate, and govern relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners.
6. **Cross‑Functional Collaboration** – Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business plans; partner with creative, commercial, and manufacturing functions to embed solutions.
7. **Team Development** – Hire, mentor, and develop a global technology and innovation team; foster a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
**Required Skills**
- Strategic technology leadership (CTO/CIO level).
- Proven AI and advanced technology integration in enterprise settings.
- Experience modernizing legacy systems and scaling enterprise tech.
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, data architecture, software development, and emerging tech stacks.
- Strong commercial acumen and operational fluency.
- Global/distance team management with high emotional intelligence; collaborative and influential leadership style.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (required).
- Master’s or MBA preferred.
- Industry certifications (e.g., Cloud Architect, Security, Project Management) are a plus.
