Job Description
Job title: Infosec Analyst Role Summary: Design, implement, and operate IT security controls to protect guests and staff from cyber threats. Oversight of security infrastructure, monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement of security posture. Expactations: - Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company systems and data. - Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks. - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR) and industry best practices. - Provide timely and actionable security recommendations to technical and business teams. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy, configure, and manage security tools (SIEM, DLP, firewall, IDS/IPS). - Conduct vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and threat assessments. - Monitor security alerts, analyze incidents, and lead response efforts. - Participate in incident investigation, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortem reporting. - Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation. - Conduct security awareness training for staff. - Collaborate with IT operations to integrate security into system design and change management. - Monitor compliance with external regulations and internal audit requirements. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of network, endpoint, cloud, and application security concepts. - Experience with SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, and intrusion detection systems. - Hands‑on experience with incident response, threat hunting, and forensic analysis. - Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI‑DSS). - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent preferred.
