Job Description
**Job Title:** Merchandising Assistant **Role Summary:** Assist the Merchandising team in driving sales through assortment planning, seller onboarding, and online merchandising across designated categories. Support cross-functional teams, manage seller relationships, and analyze data to optimize product performance and customer experience. **Expectations:** - Execute high‑impact assignments with ownership and deadline focus. - Act as a primary point of contact for external sellers. - Deliver actionable insights and recommendations based on quantitative analysis. - Maintain flawless product presentation in alignment with brand standards. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Prepare and execute assortment processes, including recruiting and onboarding new sellers. 2. Manage day‑to‑day communications with external merchants. 3. Coordinate online merchandising tasks: SKU organization, filter assignment, ranking, and shoppability optimization. 4. Maintain merchandise data: product details, search tags, and related products. 5. Conduct competitive and customer analysis to uncover growth opportunities. 6. Complete ad hoc analytical projects on request. 7. Review new products pre‑launch, coaching sellers to meet brand standards. 8. Collaborate with Operations and Customer Service to ensure smooth business operations. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; Salesforce experience preferred. - Strong analytical and quantitative abilities; data‑driven decision making. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet strict deadlines. - Retail insight and passion for design, fashion, or related aesthetics. - Knowledge of e‑commerce performance metrics and conversion drivers (plus). - Understanding of a crowdsourced marketplace model. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, design, or related field. - 0–3 years of relevant work experience. - No specific certifications mandatory.
