Job Description: **Job Title:** Senior Software Engineer (North America) **Role Summary:** Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable backend and full‑stack features for a bioprocess AI platform. Drive technical decision‑making, code quality, and team mentorship while ensuring timely release of product features. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality, production‑ready code on schedule. - Actively mentor junior engineers and promote best practices. - Own technical architecture decisions that support growth and reliability. - Communicate effectively with product, design, and infrastructure teams. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Architect and implement new backend services using Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL. 2. Develop frontend components with Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS. 3. Maintain and evolve IaC (Terraform) for AWS infrastructure. 4. Partner with product stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications. 5. Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure comprehensive testing. 6. Troubleshoot production incidents and lead post‑mortem analyses. 7.
