Job Description

**Job Title** Advanced Prototype Developer **Role Summary** Design, build, and refine high‑fidelity packaging prototypes integrating mechanical, electronic, and material innovations. Lead end‑to‑end prototype development, mentor junior members, and drive continuous improvement of prototyping processes. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, production‑ready prototypes that meet design intent and functional specifications. - Mentor and coach team members on best practices. - Innovate and experiment with emerging technologies to enhance product appeal. - Collaborate closely with design, print, and production specialists to fulfill client objectives. **Key Responsibilities** - Conceptualize and construct complex packaging prototypes using advanced model‑making techniques. - Integrate sensors, LEDs, and other electronic components into packaging solutions. - Design and fabricate mechanical moving parts and opening mechanisms. - Reverse‑engineer existing products to identify opportunities for improvement. - Troubleshoot performance issues with analytical, systematic approaches. - Manage multiple prototype projects from concept through to final production‑ready samples. - Provide guidance and best‑practice training to junior team members. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives in prototyping workflows and technology adoption. **Required Skills** - Mastery of physical model making and fabrication. - Strong engineering mindset with meticulous attention to detail. - Excellent problem‑solving and creative solution design. - In-depth knowledge of prototyping materials and their properties. - Capable of integrating basic electronic components into prototypes. - Ability to create moving parts and mechanical assemblies. - Proficiency in CAD/3D modeling tools (preferred). - Basic programming skills for interactive prototypes (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field. - Certifications in CAD, advanced model making, or relevant technical training are desirable but not mandatory.
