Job Title: Commercial Paralegal Role Summary: Support the Commercial Department by performing active fee‑earning legal work in a one‑to‑one capacity, while developing legal knowledge and administrative expertise. Expectations: - Pursue qualification as a solicitor or CILEx. - Demonstrate high motivation, self‑initiative, and a commitment to career development. - Engage with live transactional matters across all stages. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and amend legal documents; open new client files and issue correspondence. - Provide accurate quotes, archive completed files, and manage documentation with the Accounts team. - Handle client telephone and in‑person interactions; schedule appointments and address general legal queries. - Collaborate with colleagues across departments, supporting ongoing matters. - Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and general office support. Required Skills: - Strong administrative and organisational skills. - Clear written and verbal communication; professional client‑facing demeanor. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Team‑playing mindset with a collaborative approach. - Proactive, enthusiastic attitude toward learning and career progression.
