Job Description

Job Title: Cloud Data Warehousing Director Role Summary: Lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-wide cloud-based data warehousing solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical standards, and project delivery schedules. Expectations: Deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective data platforms; manage cross-functional teams; maintain rigorous controls; and provide clear status communication to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) cross-functional efforts for cloud data warehousing initiatives. - Establish and enforce controls for technical solution delivery and solution scope definition. - Partner with EIT functional teams to estimate scope, allocate resources, and manage capacity. - Identify, document, and manage technical delivery artifacts, including solution designs and implementation plans. - Review and verify consistency of estimates across teams. - Provide regular status updates on technical solution delivery initiatives. - Ensure adherence to all technical solution methodology processes and practices. Required Skills: - 10+ years of experience developing and integrating technical solutions. - Deep expertise in data warehousing, data marts, and BI code development. - Proficient in cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP. - Skilled with ETL coding tools: IBM InfoSphere/DataStage, Ab Initio, Informatica. - Experience with database technologies: DB2, Oracle, Vertica. - Knowledge of multiple development methodologies (RUP, Agile). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, data warehousing, or project management are preferred.
