Job Description
**Job Title:** Principal UX/UI Designer **Role Summary:** Lead the end‑to‑end UX/UI design for a versatile SaaS platform, focusing on onboarding, dashboard simplification, marketplace flows, and analytics integration while shaping the long‑term product experience. **Expectations:** - Partner directly with executive leadership to define and execute the product’s UX/UI vision. - Own the design process from research to hand‑off, ensuring high‑impact solutions that scale with the business. - Communicate findings, recommendations, and design rationale clearly to stakeholders. - Work autonomously in a fast‑paced, small‑team environment, driving ownership and innovation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct heuristic evaluations and user journey mapping to uncover usability gaps. - Design and iterate comprehensive onboarding flows, dashboards, and marketplace interfaces using Figma. - Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library. - Present design concepts, prototype user flows, and iterate based on stakeholder and user feedback. - Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data teams to integrate analytics and ensure design feasibility. - Mentor junior designers and set UX best practices across the organization. **Required Skills:** - 8+ years of UX/UI design experience in SaaS or creative tool environments. - Expert proficiency in Figma, with strong visual and interaction design skills. - Proven ability in heuristic evaluation, user journey mapping, and data‑driven design decisions. - Excellent verbal and written communication; experienced in presenting to executives and stakeholders. - Comfortable working in a dynamic, start‑up style environment and owning end‑to‑end design projects. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field. - Valid UX/UI design certifications (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification, Interaction Design Foundation courses, or equivalent) are preferred.
