**Job Title**
Strategic Sales Lead – Global Payments & Alternative Payment Methods
**Role Summary**
Drive acquisition and growth of institutional and merchant clients for a global payments platform. Manage end‑to‑end sales cycle, develop customized proposals, and collaborate with product, compliance, and operations teams to deliver region‑specific payment solutions.
**Experiences / Expectations**
* Minimum 3 years in fintech, payments, or financial services sales with demonstrated success in high‑risk verticals (gaming, FX, crypto).
* Established, active client portfolio or extensive network in the payments ecosystem.
* Proven track record of generating, qualifying, and closing deals across multiple regions.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Identify, acquire, and expand a portfolio of financial institutions, fintechs, and high‑risk merchants (gaming, FX brokers, e‑commerce).
2. Execute inbound and outbound sales strategies, guiding leads through prospecting, qualification, conversion, and retention stages.
3. Maintain accurate lead and deal records in the CRM (HubSpot, Monday.com).
4. Craft tailored proposals, pricing models, and presentations showcasing alternative payment methods (UPI, mobile money, digital wallets, real‑time settlement).
5. Build and sustain relationships in at least two regions among India, Africa, South America, and Southeast Asia.
6. Partner cross‑functionally with product, compliance, and operations to deliver complete end‑to‑end solutions.
7. Monitor payment trends, regulatory changes, and emerging market opportunities in targeted regions.
**Required Skills**
* Deep knowledge of alternative payment methods (UPI, mobile money, A2A, digital wallets, real‑time payments).
* Strong regional expertise: India, Africa, South America, or Southeast Asia.
* Fluency in English and one additional language (Russian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Hindi, or Cantonese).
* Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot, Monday.com) and disciplined data entry.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
* Superior organization and time‑management, capable of handling complex deal structures and multiple markets.
* Creative sales strategy, storytelling, and brand positioning combined with technical fluency in payment flows, APIs, and compliance.
* Entrepreneurial mindset, self‑starter, and ability to own outcomes in a fast‑paced fintech environment.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (preferred).
* No mandatory certifications required; relevant sales or payments certifications (e.g., Certified Payments Professional) are a plus.
