Job Description
Job title: IAM Engineer III Role Summary: Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM solutions across hybrid on‑premises and cloud environments. Deliver complex integrations, tenant migrations, privileged access controls, and security enhancements while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders. Expactations: - Own end‑to‑end delivery of large IAM initiatives impacting global user populations. - Diagnose and resolve high‑complexity technical issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and estimate effort for resolution. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to influence decisions and ensure secure, reliable solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Manage global IAM projects, including user base changes, security enhancements, integration upgrades, and multi‑tenant alignments. - Design, code, test, verify, document, and deploy IAM changes, ensuring accuracy and auditability. - Investigate security anomalies, events, and operational incidents per established procedures. - Execute and document audit fieldwork, preserving audit trail integrity. - Monitor hybrid on‑prem and cloud environments, providing timely status reports and risk assessments. - Collaborate daily with IAM analysts, engineers, and cross‑functional teams. Required Skills: - Proficient engineering experience in IAM, with deep knowledge of tools such as Okta and CyberArk. - Strong scripting/coding skills for IAM automation and troubleshooting. - Expertise in hybrid on‑prem/cloud environments, integrating with Active Directory, Azure AD, and AWS IAM. - Solid understanding of IAM best practices, Join‑Member‑Leave (JML) processes, identity, and RBAC concepts. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Professional certifications related to IAM, Okta, CyberArk, Azure, AWS, or security (e.g., Okta Certified Administrator, CyberArk Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CompTIA Security+).
