**Job Title:** IT Project Manager – Accounting (Finance)
**Role Summary:**
Lead and coordinate end‑to‑end IT projects for accounting and finance systems within an agile squad. Drive project planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance while ensuring solutions meet business requirements, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.
- Produce clear, comprehensive project documentation.
- Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Promote continuous improvement of processes and tools.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resources for accounting‑related IT initiatives.
- Create and maintain project artefacts: charter, functional specifications, presentation decks, and status reports.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA to design, build, and implement solutions.
- Develop test strategies, write test scenarios, and oversee functional and integration testing.
- Supervise development cycles, user acceptance testing, and production roll‑outs.
- Provide post‑implementation support, handle incidents, and manage change requests from finance users.
- Ensure deliverables align with business needs, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
**Required Skills:**
- Minimum 8 years of IT project management experience in accounting/finance domains.
- Deep understanding of general and analytical accounting processes, chart of accounts, and financial data flows.
- Experience with commercial accounting software or ERP financial modules.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate effectively with IT teams.
- Excellent organization, rigor, and autonomy in project tracking.
- Superior communication and stakeholder‑management skills (business users, MOA, MOE, operations).
- Proactive mindset with a track record of proposing and implementing process/tool improvements.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Scrum Master) is a plus.
- Relevant accounting or ERP certification (e.g., SAP FI/CO, Oracle Financials) advantageous.
