Job Description
Job Title: Director, Regional Sales Western Canada Role Summary: Lead and grow the Western Canada sales region for a major wire and cable manufacturer. Build strategic client relationships, drive revenue growth, and ensure long‑term customer success while managing a high‑performance regional sales team. Expectations: * Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. * Manage, develop, and retain a team of 2–5 sales representatives. * Travel up to 75 % of the time across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. * Align regional strategies with company objectives and market dynamics. Key Responsibilities: * Adjust regional sales strategies to align with organizational goals and market changes. * Develop tactical and operational plans for regional growth and resource optimization. * Oversee and coach regional sales teams to meet SM‑set goals. * Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements. * Benchmark performance against industry standards and identify improvement opportunities. * Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations to harmonize strategies. * Define and communicate KPIs; track and report on sales performance. * Hire, develop, and retain top sales talent. * Provide market intelligence and insights to inform corporate strategy. * Perform additional duties as assigned; maintain policy compliance.
