Job title: Sr Software Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps
Role Summary: Design, build, and operate secure, automated cloud services for high‑scale payment systems. Lead full SDLC activities, mentor peers, and drive infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and SRE practices.
Expactations: • Own end‑to‑end delivery of cloud‑native solutions. • Make architectural decisions with limited supervision. • Communicate effectively with product, security, and compliance teams. • Maintain high reliability, performance, and security standards.
Key Responsibilities: • Architect and implement scalable, cloud‑based components across design, testing, deployment, and operations. • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines, secret management, and self‑service environments. • Apply SRE principles to monitor, alert, and troubleshoot production services. • Perform vulnerability scanning, synthetic testing, and security hardening of infrastructure. • Mentor and coach junior engineers; review code and design documents. • Advise management on technical risks and project priorities. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enforce coding standards, compliance, and data‑driven product features.
Required Skills: • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps or SRE roles. • Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure services. • Proficient in infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi). • Strong command of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices patterns. • Expertise in CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI). • Experience with secret management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager). • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch). • Understanding of network security, compliance, and vulnerability management. • Ability to write and maintain automated tests, synthetic tests, and deployment scripts.
Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) preferred.
