**Job Title** Intern, Software Engineering **Role Summary** Support the Military Aircraft Group’s Software Engineering team as an onsite intern in Torrance, CA, contributing to the design, implementation, and testing of embedded software for aircraft control systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers, provide technical assistance, and help refine project processes. **Expectations** - Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering. - Minimum GPA of 3.0 (exact requirement specified by department). - Ability to relocate for the internship duration. - Professional communication skills, strong learning orientation, positive team attitude, and a desire to take initiative. **Key Responsibilities** - Participate in software design and coding for embedded aircraft control systems. - Assist in planning, execution, and documentation of engineering tasks. - Offer technical support and troubleshoot issues for senior engineers. - Contribute feedback on project workflows, strategies, and execution. - Work collaboratively across functional teams and maintain a professional representation of the organization. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in at least one programming language used in embedded systems (e.g., C/C++). - Understanding of software development life cycle and embedded system concepts. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Effective written and verbal communication. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Required Education & Certifications** - Enrollment in an accredited university’s Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering. - GPA ≥ 3.0. ---
