**Job Title** Research Analyst **Role Summary** Conducts data‑driven research and analysis to support BC Housing’s strategic planning and policy development. Manages independent research projects and collaborates on larger initiatives, producing reports, visualizations, and literature reviews to inform decision‑making. **Expectations** Deliver timely, high‑quality research outputs that meet established milestones and quality standards. Demonstrate independence in project management while contributing effectively to team efforts and departmental priorities. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and execute research studies, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups. - Manage relational databases, perform data extraction, cleaning, and analysis using advanced Excel functions. - Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards in Power BI. - Draft research documents, literature reviews, and scoping reports. - Coordinate logistics for research activities (scheduling, recruitment, material preparation). - Compile findings into clear, concise reports and presentations for stakeholders. - Maintain adherence to research methodology principles and departmental policies. - Track project progress, identify key milestones, and communicate status updates. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in relational database management and data analytics. - Advanced Excel and Power BI expertise; Word proficiency. - Strong written and verbal communication. - Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities. - Project planning, organization, and deadline management. - Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. **Required Education & Certifications** Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
