Job Description
**Job Title:** AWS Connect Specialist **Role Summary:** Design, configure, and maintain Amazon Connect contact center environments for a large governmental customer. Deliver end‑to‑end solutions that improve customer engagement, operational efficiency, and compliance through cloud‑native contact flows, conversational AI, integration, and performance monitoring. **Expectations:** - Deliver secure, scalable Amazon Connect implementations meeting federal and local security standards. - Proactively monitor and tune system performance, ensuring high availability. - Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders (security, IT PMs, business analysts, end users) to translate requirements into technical solutions. - Document configuration, change control, and compliance processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, document, and deploy dynamic contact flows, routing, and user/profiles. - Develop and launch chatbots and conversational AI components (Lex, Lambda). - Configure outbound campaigns, customer surveys, and caller ID compliance. - Integrate Connect with external systems (CRMs, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda) using appropriate services. - Build and maintain KPI dashboards in QuickSight; analyze CloudWatch metrics for insights. - Apply change management and configuration control for all production updates. - Troubleshoot technical issues; perform performance tuning and system revisions. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years hands‑on experience with Amazon Connect. - Strong knowledge of contact flow design, routing, and user management. - Experience integrating Connect with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Lex, and other services. - Proficiency in AWS monitoring tools (CloudWatch, QuickSight). - Understanding of VoIP, customer experience principles, and workforce optimization. - Solid communication skills for requirement gathering and stakeholder explanation. - Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer preferred. ---
