Job Description
**Job Title:** Research Intern **Role Summary:** Entry‑level clinical research associate supporting trial execution through data collection, management, and administrative tasks. Works under senior staff supervision to ensure accurate, compliant data handling and research conduct. **Expectations:** - Adhere to responsible conduct of research standards and federal/institutional regulations. - Complete regulatory submissions (e.g., IRB) accurately and on time. - Maintain confidentiality and use research resources efficiently. - Meet all required training and certifications (CITI, CHEX, Human Subjects). **Key Responsibilities:** - Collect, enter, and verify clinical and research data in electronic databases and CRFs. - Aggregate and assist in preliminary analysis of study data under guidance. - Perform routine clerical duties: filing, record‑keeping, photocopying, and production of flyers/posters. - Support project administration: schedule coordination, timeline tracking, and milestone monitoring. - Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and deliverables. **Required Skills:** - Knowledge of basic mathematics, data collection and analysis, and research principles. - Understanding of human subjects research regulations. - Proficient computer skills (Windows and/or macOS, common productivity suites, data entry tools). - Strong organizational, writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities. - Ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly, and follow safety protocols. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum: High School Diploma or GED (required); Bachelor’s degree preferred. - CITI Certification (mandatory). ---
