Job Title: Web Developer
Role Summary
Design, develop, test, and maintain websites and web applications in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment. Build site architecture, create responsive front‑end and back‑end code, integrate multimedia content, and ensure optimal server performance while adhering to security and quality standards.
Expectations
- 3–5 years of professional web development experience.
- Bilingual proficiency (English/another language).
- Must work on‑site; remote work not permitted.
- Will handle tight deadlines and high‑pressure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and integrate web‑related code, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and jQuery.
- Develop website architecture and determine hardware/software requirements for optimal server performance.
- Write, modify, integrate, and test front‑end and back‑end code for websites, e‑commerce and internet applications.
- Maintain and modify existing computer programs as required.
- Prepare mock‑ups, storyboards, diagrams, and documentation (reports, manuals, status updates).
- Source, organize, and design content layout and flow; optimize graphics, database, animation, and other media.
- Assist in user‑requirement collection, logical/physical specification development.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend interactive media and software products.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams for web graphics, content, and interactivity.
- Conduct testing, security checks, quality controls, and incident management.

Technical
- HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, WordPress, Microsoft SQL Server, Adobe Acrobat Reader, MS Office, Windows desktop.

Required Education & Certifications
- College or CEGEP degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
