**Job Title** Security Engineer **Role Summary** A hands‑on, client‑facing security installation engineer responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining intruder alarm, CCTV, access control, and public address systems. Works independently or in small teams, ensuring quality delivery and adherence to safety standards. **Expectations** - Deliver installations on schedule with high quality. - Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders. - Maintain accurate documentation and administrative records. - Uphold health and safety guidelines at all times. **Key Responsibilities** - Install, commission, and repair intruder alarm, CCTV, access control, and PA systems. - Interpret technical drawings and specifications. - Conduct site surveys and advise customers on system suitability. - Provide post‑installation support and troubleshooting. - Complete routine maintenance and system checks. - Manage invoicing, timesheets, and related administrative tasks. **Required Skills** - Minimum 3 years’ experience installing and servicing intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control systems. - Full UK driving licence (company van provided). - Physical fitness to handle equipment and work at heights. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent organisational, self‑motivation, and detail‑orientation. **Required Education & Certifications** - No formal education prerequisite listed. - Relevant industry certifications (e.g., VCS or equivalent) preferred.
