Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Role Summary: Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure across cloud and on‑prem environments. Mentor DevOps and development teams, provide tooling support, drive automation, embed security best practices, and collaborate closely with architects, developers, and product owners to deliver scalable, reliable energy‑grid solutions.

- Deliver high‑quality, automated solutions that support both development and production workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for development and production.
- Manage and support cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure) and on‑prem environments.
- Mentor and train DevOps Engineers, Test Automation Engineers, and Developers.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for technology adoption.
- Administer and improve tooling suite (GitLab, Jira, Confluence).
- Build and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code solutions (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Consul).
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters (on‑prem preferred).
- Provide security integration (vault, scanning, compliance) within CI/CD workflows.
- Conduct research on third‑party tools, recommend enhancements, and devise migration strategies.
- Collaborate with security, architecture, and product teams to refine backlog and project scoping.
- Build, test, and publish container images with Docker.
- Manage compute, storage, and networking services across hybrid environments.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with Terraform, Ansible, Vault, Packer, and Consul.
- Hands‑on Kubernetes administration, preferably on‑prem.
- Strong scripting/coding in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Expertise in Docker containerization and CI/CD pipeline design.
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux system administration.
- Advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Knowledge of CI/CD security scanning and compliance integration.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentorship abilities.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional (preferred).
- Azure Solutions Expert (preferred).
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) (preferred).
