Job Description
Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst Intern Role Summary: Provide data‑driven analysis to support production planning, purchasing, inventory management, and logistics, enhancing supply chain efficiency and visibility. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Operations, Sales, Finance, Engineering, Customer Service, Regulatory) to identify improvement opportunities and drive actionable solutions. Expectations: - Complete a 10–12 week, full‑time internship during the summer. - Deliver a final presentation summarizing insights, recommendations, and key accomplishments. - Demonstrate initiative, ownership, and the ability to influence decisions through data analysis. - Align with core values of integrity, excellence, people chemistry, the golden rule, courage, and servant leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze supply chain data to identify gaps and recommend process enhancements. - Support production planning, purchasing, and logistics teams with quantitative and qualitative problem‑solving. - Lead improvement initiatives, track metrics, measure results, and communicate findings across the organization. - Monitor and report key operational KPIs to leadership. - Collaborate closely with Operations and cross‑functional partners to ensure alignment and continuity. - Perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall supply chain objectives. Required Skills: - Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is a plus. - Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and quantitative problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication, with the capacity to influence and collaborate across teams. - Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a self‑starter mindset. - Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. Required Education & Certifications: - Current university junior entering senior year (expected graduation December 2026 or May 2027). - Major in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Supply Chain Management (or related discipline).
