**Job Title:** Vice President of Software Engineering
**Role Summary:**
Lead and grow a high‑performing engineering organization, driving rapid product development, adopting agile best practices, and ensuring alignment with business strategy. Deliver secure, scalable, high‑performance software while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver on strategic roadmaps and product milestones in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
- Measure and improve team performance through OKRs/KPIs and continuous feedback.
- Maintain highest standards for code quality, security, performance, and scalability.
- Act as a business partner, influencing executive decisions and aligning technical outcomes with customer and corporate goals.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build, mentor, and retain a diverse engineering team across software development, QA, DevOps, and architecture.
- Champion agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe), including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
- Drive architectural decisions, platform modernization, and technology strategy, ensuring cloud readiness (AWS/Azure) and use of modern architectures (microservices, APIs).
- Implement and evolve a DevSecOps culture, with CI/CD pipelines at the core.
- Define and enforce metrics, OKRs, and KPIs for quality, delivery, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee budgets, resource allocation, vendor relationships, and talent acquisition.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Customer Success, and executive leadership to translate business needs into technical solutions.
**Required Skills:**
- Extensive leadership experience (10+ years in engineering, 5+ in senior roles).
- Proven record of building and scaling engineering teams in agile/Scrum or SAFe environments.
- Deep knowledge of secure software development, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and microservices architectures.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, or data‑management products.
- Familiarity with compliance and data‑governance solutions (DLP, eDiscovery) is a plus.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
