Job Description
**Job Title:** Junior Product Manager **Role Summary:** Support the strategic growth of a multi‑asset digital trading platform by delivering data‑driven insights, analysing performance metrics, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to optimise product offerings and commercial outcomes. **Expectations:** - 0‑3 years experience in product, business analysis, or data roles within financial or investment services. - Proven ability to translate large datasets into actionable business recommendations. - Strong commercial focus with a track record of influencing product decisions that drive revenue, client activation, and performance KPIs. - Self‑starter who thrives in fast‑paced environments and can handle multiple priorities. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Extract, clean, and analyse platform usage, client behaviour, and commercial performance data using SQL and Excel. 2. Translate findings into actionable insights and clear recommendations for product strategy. 3. Support the UK product roadmap by quantifying opportunities, measuring impact, and guiding prioritisation. 4. Assist in defining, launching, and evaluating new products/features to meet local market needs and KPI targets (e.g., trading activity, funding, RoCA). 5. Monitor and optimise pricing structures, margin schedules, and product accessibility using data‑driven commercial decisions. 6. Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis, producing structured insights for strategic direction. 7. Collaborate with Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and Platform teams to align product messaging, regulatory obligations, and commercial goals. 8. Participate in quarterly planning cycles and target‑setting exercises, providing data‑driven input to prioritise initiatives. 9. Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and ethical investing standards to ensure platform innovation and compliance. **Required Skills:** - Advanced SQL (complex queries, data extraction from large datasets). - Advanced Excel (pivot tables, advanced functions, data modelling). - Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). - Understanding of retail investment products and key platform KPIs. - Strong analytical and quantitative problem‑solving skills. - Clear verbal and written communication; ability to present insights to non‑technical stakeholders. - Prioritisation, project management, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. - Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and commercially driven mindset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field. - No specific certifications mandatory, but experience with financial industry regulations or product management frameworks is advantageous.
