**Job title** Automation Development Lead **Role Summary** Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Generative AI solutions. Build and execute a strategic roadmap that aligns automation initiatives with business objectives, ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and timeline targets. Manage a cross‑functional team of developers and analysts, establish governance frameworks, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to prioritize high‑impact processes. **Expactations** - Own end‑to‑end automation strategy for RPA and Generative AI. - Drive continuous improvement, quality, and compliance across automation projects. - Effectively communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. - Foster a culture of teamwork, mentorship, and succession planning. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for RPA and Generative AI implementation. - Prioritize automation opportunities with senior management, evaluating ROI, complexity, and strategic importance. - Lead a team of RPA developers and analysts through design, build, test, deploy, and support phases. - Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance. - Conduct business process assessments, redesign workflows, and create detailed documentation (process maps, automation specs). - Define and enforce governance, standards, and best practices for RPA and AI deployments. - Ensure regulatory compliance related to data privacy, security, and auditing. - Evaluate, select, and integrate third‑party AI tools and platforms. - Manage vendor relationships to deliver business value. - Champion continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team. **Required Skills** - 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in RPA bot development and 3+ years in people leadership and project delivery. - Expertise in RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc.) and Generative AI technologies (NLP, computer vision, ML frameworks). - Strong grasp of SDLC, Agile Scrum, and DevOps practices; experience leading Agile QA teams. - Analytical mindset with ability to transform data into actionable insights. - Proven vendor management and business‑impact delivery. - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication. - Leadership skills: retention, succession planning, and employee development. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. - Certifications preferred: RPA‑specific (UiPath Certified Advanced Developer, Automation Anywhere Advanced Automation Designer, Blue Prism Developer), Agile Scrum (CSM/PSP), and AI/ML (e.g., TensorFlow, ML Certification).
