Job Title: Marketing and Business Development Assistant Role Summary: Full‑time support role within the Marketing and Business Development department of a UK law firm, responsible for coordinating administrative, digital, client‑service, and event activities to enable the firm’s growth strategy. Expectations: Highly organised, detail‑oriented, proactive learner who can manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Calendar and diary management for the director, including meetings, agendas, and social events. - Central file, subscription, and invoice administration, as well as contact database upkeep. - Support website maintenance, digital reporting, social media monitoring, mailing lists, and intranet content. - Act as the marketing helpdesk: answer inquiries, conduct research for pitches, and coordinate client feedback. - Assist with client‑service and business‑development tasks under the Director of Client Services. - Source and manage firm merchandise inventory. - Plan and execute internal and external events, awards submissions, and related logistics. Required Skills: - Strong organisational and time‑management abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and common social‑media platforms. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Attention to detail and a quick‑learning mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Recent university graduate, college diploma, or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field. No mandatory certifications, but familiarity with marketing tools is advantageous.
