Job Description: **Job title** Web Developer **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, collaborating with design and product teams to implement client requirements and resolve technical issues. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality WordPress sites on time - Troubleshoot and optimize site performance - Maintain client sites on retainer, ensuring uptime and security - Improve features through emerging technologies **Key Responsibilities** - Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins (including ACF) - Translate Figma designs into responsive HTML/CSS/JS layouts - Configure and manage WooCommerce stores, including product catalogs and payment flows - Write and debug PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Alpine.js, or Vue.js code - Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, consume JSON data, and perform data transformations - Apply Tailwind CSS for utility‑first styling (when required) - Perform regular site maintenance (updates, backups, security) - Manage company server and perform routine R&D on new software and practices - Collaborate with account managers to address client bug reports and feature requests **Required Skills** - Advanced WordPress development (themes, plugins, ACF) - Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP - Deep knowledge of WooCommerce and WordPress ecosystem - Experience with REST API, GraphQL, JSON, and API integration - Familiarity with Figma, Tailwind CSS, jQuery, Alpine.js, and Vue.js (preferred) - Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail, and communication skills **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (preferred) - Relevant certifications in WordPress, JavaScript, or PHP are a plus.
