Job Description
Job Title: eLearning Media Developer Role Summary: Create, edit, and refine engaging digital learning assets, including courses, PDFs, transcripts, assessments, videos, interactive content, and slide decks, primarily using Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline) and PowerPoint. Ensure instructional accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness while delivering high‑quality outputs on schedule. Expectations: * Produce polished eLearning materials that meet instructional design standards. * Maintain rigorous quality control through thorough testing and review. * Deliver bilingual content when required, supporting French translations. * Work autonomously in a fast‑paced, freelance environment, managing multiple deadlines. * Communicate clearly with stakeholders to align content with training objectives. Key Responsibilities: * Design and develop eLearning courses with Articulate 360 Rise and Storyline. * Create and edit course assets: PDFs, transcripts, assessments, videos, interactive modules, and slide decks. * Test and review content for accuracy, narrative flow, and instructional integrity. * Translate or adapt materials into French as needed. * Prioritize and manage concurrent projects, ensuring on‑time delivery. * Follow established processes, quality checks, and documentation standards. * Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to refine learning solutions. Required Skills: * Proficiency in Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline) and PowerPoint. * Strong instructional design foundation and experience creating effective learning experiences. * Excellent attention to detail and mastery of English grammar. * Independent work style with strong organizational and time‑management abilities. * Clear communication and collaboration skills. * Experience with Camtasia, Trint, and Vyond is an asset. * Familiarity with additional eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Storyline add‑ins, Adobe Captivate) is advantageous. * Demonstrable portfolio showcasing eLearning development and instructional design work. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Multimedia Design, or related field (or equivalent experience). * Articulate 360 certification or proven expertise in its tools is preferred. * Knowledge of SCORM/Tin Can (xAPI) standards and eLearning compliance is desirable.
