Job Description
Job title: Sr Director, European Business Unit - Security Role Summary: Lead strategy, execution and growth of the European Security business unit, reporting to VP, driving a multi‑year operating plan, partnership development, and revenue targets across multiple countries. Expactations: Deliver annual operating plan (AOP) and quarterly tactical plans; maintain vendor and customer relationships; close strategic acquisitions; supervise local country leads; build & launch cross‑country programs; present thought‑leadership at industry events; manage a senior management team; ensure compliance and meet financial targets. Key Responsibilities: - Design, execute and monitor AOP and quarterly plans. - Identify and negotiate potential M&A opportunities. - Lead sub‑operations execution, ensuring KPIs. - Develop and implement cross‑country security initiatives & campaigns. - Conduct quarterly reviews with country management teams. - Represent the company at public events and industry forums. - Coach and develop team members, maintain talent pipeline. Required Skills: - 5–8 years senior business development/operations in IT security, vendor/distributor/partner environment, with European market exposure. - Proven leadership and people‑management experience (5–8 years leading teams). - Strategic thinking, analytical rigor, strong negotiation skills. - Excellent English; additional EU languages a plus. - Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Advanced proficiency in MS Office, CRM, business analytics; quick to adopt new tech. - Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, IT or related field (MBA or Master’s preferred). - Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, CISA) welcomed but not mandatory.
