**Job Title:** Chief Digital Pharmacy & AI Transformation Leader
**Role Summary**
Lead the strategic transformation of pharmacy services through digital technology and artificial intelligence. Own the vision, road‑map, and delivery of end‑to‑end digital solutions that enhance patient access, medication safety, and operational efficiency across the organization.
**Expectations**
- Establish and execute a pharmacy‑centric digital strategy aligned with clinical and business objectives.
- Drive AI adoption for prescription processing, inventory management, personalized medicine, and clinical decision support.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, data protection regulations, and ethical AI principles.
- Champion change management, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Act as an external and internal advocate for digital pharmacy, securing stakeholder buy‑in and partnership opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead cross‑functional teams (IT, clinical, operations, analytics) to deliver digital pharmacy platforms and AI solutions on schedule and budget.
- Develop and prioritize a technology pipeline, define key metrics, and report progress to executive leadership.
- Oversee system integration with electronic health records, pharmacy dispensing systems, and population‑health data sources.
- Design and implement data governance, security, and privacy frameworks specific to pharmacy operations and AI models.
- Conduct feasibility studies, ROI analyses, and pilot programs for emerging technologies such as smart dispensing, predictive analytics, and virtual care.
- Provide thought leadership on regulatory changes, reimbursement models, and emerging best practices in digital pharmacy and AI.
- Mentor and build capabilities within the pharmacy and IT teams through training, workshops, and talent development.
**Required Skills**
- Proven leadership (10+ years) in digital health, pharmacy operations, or AI product development.
- Deep knowledge of pharmacy workflows, prescription processing, medication safety, and clinical outcomes.
- Expertise in AI/ML, data analytics, and AI‑enabled decision support systems.
- Strong strategic planning, project portfolio management, and resource allocation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments (HIPAA, GDPR, FDA/EMA guidance).
- Change management and organizational development experience.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy (PharmD), Health Informatics, Clinical Informatics, Data Science, or related field.
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Certified Practitioner in AI/ML in Healthcare or related certification (e.g., IAHS, CEH) desirable.
- Licensure in pharmacy practice or equivalent clinical credential preferred.
