Job Description

Job title: Regional Technical Manager Role Summary: Lead technical operations for the rental equipment portfolio, driving availability, quality, and safety. Act as the sole technical authority, develop improvement plans, align with commercial teams, manage budgets, key metrics, and CAPEX decisions, while ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction. Expectations: Deliver measurable improvements in equipment uptime and service quality, maintain rigorous safety standards, influence regional strategy, and collaborate closely with regional leadership and commercial partners to achieve operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Optimize workshop productivity and technical service quality for terrain, leveling, tooling, and vehicles. - Ensure conformity and safety of all rented equipment. - Design, implement, and monitor technical improvement plans. - Provide expert guidance to agencies and sales teams on equipment selection, stock balancing, and issue resolution. - Represent technical expertise to key clients on high‑profile projects. - Co‑develop material budgets with regional management. - Drive productivity enhancements and track KPIs using dashboards and metrics. - Play a central role in CAPEX decisions on equipment acquisition and deployment. - Oversee inventory management, subcontracting arrangements, workshop operations, and client damage incidents. Required Skills: - Strong technical knowledge of rental equipment and maintenance processes. - Proven ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and dashboards. - Leadership skills to coach and inspire technical teams. - Analytical mindset for continuous improvement and problem solving. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management. - Project management competence with a focus on safety and compliance. Required Education & Certifications: - Technical or engineering background, minimum Baccalaureate (Bac) equivalence to Bac +5. - Relevant certifications in maintenance management, safety, or project management preferred.
