Job Description

Job title: Sr. Azure Cloud Architect Role Summary: Design, lead, and implement enterprise‑scale Azure solutions. Provide strategic architectural guidance, secure cloud design, and hands‑on support for migration, modernization, and cloud‑native initiatives. Expectations: - Lead architectural decision‑making for large Azure environments. - Justify design choices to technical and business stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with NDA and security standards. - Deliver proof‑of‑concepts and MVP validations. - Operate collaboratively with stakeholders and partners (e.g., COV, MSI). Key Responsibilities: - Architect secure, scalable Azure solutions aligned with agency goals. - Recommend lift‑and‑shift, hybrid, and refactoring strategies. - Conduct Azure MVP and proof‑of‑concept testing. - Configure and optimize Azure services for performance and cost. - Maintain alignment with security, compliance, and NDA requirements. Required Skills: - Deep expertise in Azure architecture, governance, and security. - Proven experience designing and managing large‑scale Azure deployments. - Strong knowledge of cloud migration, modernization, and Azure‑native services. - Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences. - Proficiency with Azure tools, Azure AD, Azure Policy, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), and networking. - Familiarity with partnered offerings from COV, MSI, and related providers.
