**Job Title:** LabWare LIMS Developer‑Solutions Architect
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, configure, and support advanced LabWare LIMS solutions for pharmaceutical environments. Lead integration of laboratory instruments and external systems, ensuring code quality, compliance, and optimal performance across cloud and on‑premise infrastructures.
**Expectations:**
- Immediate availability for a long‑term contract role.
- Remote work with ability to collaborate across global teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in LabWare LIMS V5+ (V8 preferred), LIMS Basic, and related programming languages.
- Proven track record of complex code delivery, peer code review, and L4 troubleshooting in regulated settings.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Work with Product Owners, QA, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
- Configure, customize, and maintain LabWare LIMS environments (AWS cloud and on‑premise).
- Design, implement, and test instrument integrations (GC, HPLC, spectrophotometer, ICP‑MS, plate readers, etc.).
- Develop interfaces with external applications and integrate scientific software packages.
- Create and review deliverables: technical specs, design documents, test plans, and deployment guides.
- Participate in code reviews focusing on standards, functionality, error handling, and performance.
- Mentor junior developers and provide subject‑matter guidance on LIMS architecture and best practices.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years of LIMS development experience in a pharmaceutical setting.
- Deep knowledge of LabWare LIMS Basic programming and relational database concepts.
- Proficiency in JavaScript for custom visual workflows and UI extensions.
- Strong familiarity with LabWare infrastructure: AWS Cloud, Cloud‑on‑Prem.
- Experience with instrument integration and data flow mapping for analytical equipment.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code.
- Familiarity with L4 troubleshooting, regulatory compliance, and version control systems.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- LabWare certification preferred (LIMS Programmer or equivalent).
- Additional certifications in AWS, JavaScript frameworks, or LIMS architecture highly valued.
