Job Title: Junior Data Engineer (F/M)
Role Summary
Act as a key contributor to the Group’s data transformation by designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and analytical platforms. Support decision‑making through reliable, secure, and high‑quality data, while automating data processes and delivering Power BI reports for business teams.
Expectations
- Deliver scalable ETL/ELT solutions that feed strategic dashboards and analytics.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across the Microsoft Data stack.
- Automate and industrialise DataOps practices.
- Collaborate closely with business users to translate their requirements into technical solutions.
- Proactively learn and apply emerging technologies, including Microsoft Fabric and generative AI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server, Azure, and Power BI data pipelines.
2. Implement and evolve the Microsoft Data Architecture (SQL Server, Azure Data Services, Power BI, Fabric).
3. Enforce data quality, security, and availability standards.
4. Automate DataOps workflows (ETL scheduling, monitoring, error handling).
5. Build Power BI applications and reports tailored to user needs.
6. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
7. Contribute to AI‑generative projects and Microsoft Fabric services.
8. Document processes, provide technical support, and train end‑users.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server, SSIS, Power BI, and Azure Data Services.
- Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is highly desirable.
- Ability to automate data workflows and adopt DataOps practices.
- Strong analytical ability, self‑motivated, and curious about new technologies.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Professional English fluency.
- Bonus: .NET, Python, VBScript, Navision/Business Central knowledge.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Data Engineering, BI development, or SQL in a Microsoft environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Power BI certification) are a plus.
