Job Description
Job title: Sales Intern Role Summary Provide proactive administrative support to the UK Sales team of a global entertainment company, manage daily box‑office data, update sales decks, liaise with finance, maintain release schedules, organise screenings and events, and conduct market analysis to support film distribution and commercial strategy. Expectations - Eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the internship period. - Current undergraduate student returning to full‑time study in Autumn 2027, or recent A‑Level/Apprenticeship graduate seeking post‑exam work experience. - Demonstrated ability to handle shifting priorities, work under pressure, and deliver accurate outcomes in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Deliver accurate, timely administrative support to the UK Sales team. 2. Generate, reconcile and audit daily box‑office downloads; correct discrepancies and provide final figures to the Sales Manager. 3. Create and update the Universal Slate Deck in PowerPoint for trade and industry use. 4. Coordinate with Finance on box‑office receipt queries. 5. Maintain and update market release dates across the Universal Box Office system. 6. Organise exhibitor screenings, collect feedback, and support related events. 7. Execute market analysis when requested to identify performance trends and growth opportunities. Required Skills - Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Team‑player ability with initiative and self‑management under tight deadlines. - Interest in film and familiarity with film distribution concepts. Required Education & Certifications - Enrolled in an undergraduate program, returning to full‑time study in Autumn 2027, or recent post‑secondary completion of A‑Levels/equivalent or apprenticeship. No specific degree or certification required beyond eligibility for the internship.
