Job Description: **Job title** Site Reliability Engineer – AWS (5‑month freelance contract) **Role summary** Provide technical leadership and operational support for Treezor’s AWS environment, ensuring scalability, reliability, security and efficient delivery of new features. Collaborate closely with development squads to design, deploy, and maintain cloud services and CI/CD workflows. **Expectations** - 5‑month freelance contract, with on‑call rotations (evenings, weekends) - Deliver measurable improvements in platform stability, performance, and compliance **Key responsibilities** - Own and evolve the AWS platform in line with governance and best‑practice standards - Maintain high availability, reliability, and performance of production applications - Partner with developers to co‑design application services and infrastructure solutions - Develop, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) - Evaluate and propose integrations of new AWS resources or architectural patterns - Document procedures, runbooks, and best‑practice references for internal teams - Drive cross‑functional tooling enhancements and process optimisation **Required skills** - 6+ years’ experience managing production AWS infrastructure, including serverless architectures - Proven expertise with Terraform, GitLab CI, and key AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda) - Comfortable scripting in Python, Go, Node.js, PHP or Shell (preferred) - Strong communication skills (written & oral) and ability to build relationships with developers - Ability to document processes and produce clear technical documentation - Availability for on‑call duty (evenings/weekends) **Required education & certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience - AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer) highly desirable ---
