Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Role Summary
Lead the end‑to‑end migration of a legacy client application to a modern web platform. Own the roadmap, orchestrate cross‑functional delivery, and ensure alignment between engineering, product, and operations to achieve a scalable, high‑performance web ecosystem.
Expectations
- Minimum 5 years of technical project management or engineering leadership experience.
- Proven record of successful migration or modernization projects (e.g., desktop → web, on‑prem → cloud, monolith → microservices).
- Strong grasp of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, etc.) and ability to manage complex multi‑team initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical detail to business stakeholders.
- Proactive, calm leadership capable of thriving in high‑stakes, dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the migration roadmap, strategy, scope, and technical milestones.
- Partner with engineering leads, architects, and product managers to translate objectives into actionable delivery plans.
- Coordinate Frontend, Backend, DevOps, QA, UX, and data teams to maintain momentum and alignment.
- Oversee data and API migration, infrastructure evolution, and user experience continuity.
- Anticipate risks, manage dependencies, and adjust plans to keep the project on track.
- Provide transparent reporting and proactive problem‑solving to stakeholders.
- Champion engineering excellence, delivery discipline, and team morale throughout the transition.
Required Skills
- Technical project management, program leadership, and delivery oversight.
- Expertise in migration or modernization programs (desktop → web, cloud transition, microservices re‑architecture).
- Proficiency with web architectures (React, Angular, etc.), backend stacks (.NET, Node.js, Java), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep understanding of API design, data migration, and cloud‑native refactoring.
- Agile framework proficiency (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Problem‑solving mindset and ability to adapt to change.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications such as PMP, CSM, or SAFe are preferred but not mandatory.
