Job Description
**Job Title**: Dutch‑speaking Field Service Engineer **Role Summary** Provide on‑site installation, maintenance, repair, and user training for Revvity’s Life Science / Diagnostics instruments, with an initial focus on Reproductive Health Screening systems. Operate across Belgium and support regional customers as needed, ensuring high customer service standards, compliance with quality processes, and efficient field operations. **Expectations** - Deliver top‑tier technical support and training to users. - Meet or exceed service performance targets and documentation standards. - Manage spare parts inventory, tool calibration, and quality‑management procedures. - Act as a brand ambassador, communicating effectively with customers at all levels. - Maintain accurate and timely work‑order, expense, and vehicle logs. **Key Responsibilities** - Install, commission, and troubleshoot diagnostic instruments in client laboratories. - Conduct routine preventive maintenance on a monthly schedule. - Provide first‑line onsite user training on LSDx and related systems. - Review, update, and maintain service data bulletins, circuit diagrams, safety manuals, and procedures in line with the Quality Management System. - Coordinate spare part usage, inventory tracking, and rapid resolution of anomalies. - Verify calibration status of testing equipment and ensure tools meet operational requirements. - Complete work orders and associated documentation promptly; submit e‑learning, expense claims, and vehicle reports on time. - Support customers beyond Belgium when required, traveling as necessary. **Required Skills** - Fluency in Dutch/Flemish and English (written and verbal). - 3–5 years of field service or customer‑support experience in a high‑technology environment. - Strong knowledge of electronics and clinical instrument applications; experience with immunoassay, HCS, and liquid‑handling systems is advantageous. - Familiarity with prenatal and neonatal screening concepts and laboratory information systems (LIS). - Proficiency with Microsoft OS (XP/10/11), PC networking, and PC maintenance. - Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and motivational skills. - Commitment to customer‑service excellence and quality compliance. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree, HNC, or equivalent in Electronic Engineering plus foundational Chemistry/Biology. - Full driving licence. ---
